The formulation is built on ceramide NP and beta-glucan, combined with Dr. Alpha Complex, a blend of seven botanical extracts registered under Korean patent KR 10-1620196. Sodium hyaluronate and Centella asiatica extract are also present. The product contains no oil phase of the kind that typically concerns acne-prone users, and no steroids. It is regulated as a cosmetic in South Korea, not as a drug or a medical device.

The patent abstract describes a cosmetic composition containing beta-glucan at 0.2 to 5 percent by weight together with these extracts. Note carefully what that means: the patent office examined novelty and inventive step in the composition. It did not approve any efficacy claim, and Korean cosmetics regulation does not permit a cosmetic to claim treatment of a disease. The specification is published so the composition can be read directly, and that is the extent of what a patent number gives you.

After that, use it as the final step of the morning and evening routine. Applying while the skin is still slightly damp after washing helps trap water. Individual response varies, but because the epidermis turns over on a cycle of several weeks, two to four weeks of consistent use is a reasonable window before judging a moisturizer.

If you are using a prescribed topical treatment, the moisturizer is used alongside it rather than instead of it. Evidence on the order of application is limited, so follow the instruction of the clinician who prescribed it, and do not stop prescribed treatment because the skin has improved.
